Shenandoah Life offers a number of great products to fit almost any stage of
your life.
The term "life insurance" actually applies to a variety of products. Some are
best used as savings vehicles, some are better for buyers with a budget, and
some are designed only for a period of time.
However, all life and annuity products have one thing in common. They provide
you, your family, and your loved ones with peace of mind. Your decision to
purchase a life or annuity product is an important one, so make sure you are
knowledgeable about what you need, when you need it, and for whom you need it.
Shenandoah Life is licensed to do business in 31 states and the District of
Columbia. Please keep in mind that all products may not be available in all
states. Please check with a Shenandoah Life agent if you are interested in a
particular product.

Senior Needs
Shenandoah Life's focus is on making sure all of our customers are
well-provided for - especially our senior customers.
As a mature customer, you have different needs - you want to provide for your
family after you're gone, and you also don't want your final expenses to be a
burden on family members.
To provide for your needs, we developed several products that meet very
different objectives.
Annuities are a good way for you to accumulate income that
you may need later in life. Annuities are similar to life insurance in that you
purchase an annuity product with a premium, just like life insurance. However,
annuity payouts begin while you are still alive, so you can enjoy the fruits of
your labor. The remaining proceeds in an annuity are paid to your beneficiary at
your death.
Safe Choice® II, Shenandoah Life's most widely sold annuity, offers a 3.0%
guaranteed minimum interest rate, and a first-year bonus of 1.5%, for an
excellent minimum return of 4.5% in the first year. Shenandoah Life also offers
a flexible premium deferred annuity (FPDA2) and a single premium deferred
annuity (SPDA2.)
Universal Life
Altis® I and II and Altis® 100 Plus are Shenandoah Life's premier
universal life policies. These policies provide you with superb
financial flexibility because they give you excellent protection, as
well as the option to use some of your funds during your lifetime. UL
policies build cash value and can function as a savings vehicle.

Whole Life
A Whole Life policy covers you for your entire life, not just a specific
period. Your death benefit and premiums are guaranteed to remain the
same, and your policy also builds cash value. Shenandoah Whole Life is
sold to those consumers who want protection with guarantees. |
 |
Term Life
Term life insurance means just that - it is in force only for a certain
period, or term, of time. Shenandoah Term is our most basic type of
insurance. Premiums are based on your age at time of purchase and your
health. Your premiums remain constant during the specified term period.
Shenandoah Term is available for periods of 10, 15, 20, 25 or 30 years.
(Premiums are projected to remain level for your entire term period, and
are guaranteed to remain level for 5, 10, 13, 15 and 17 years,
respectively.) |
 |
Mortgage Protector® II
Mortgage Protector® II is also term insurance, but it is sold only to
people who have bought or re-financed a home in the past two years.
Mortgage Protector® II is available in 10, 15, 20, 25, or 30-year
periods, and offers good protection at a price that makes sense with
your family budget. |

Build Your Estate... and Protect It
Legacy SolutionSM III is our premier senior market product, and can be
an excellent product for your estate planning needs. Many of you have
funds you've worked hard to accumulate, and you want to leave this money
to your children and grandchildren. However, many traditional money
saving accounts, such as CDs, annuities, and Money Market accounts, are
not the best funds to choose for asset reallocation. Life insurance
death benefit proceeds from Legacy SolutionSM III pass to your
beneficiary federal income tax-free under current tax law*, and can
avoid the costs and delays associated with probate. |

Make Them a Promise
Golden Promise® is Shenandoah Life's whole life product, designed
exclusively for the senior market. Golden Promise® is most often used to
pay final expenses. It is available to seniors ages 50 - 85, and offers
low face amounts. You can purchase life insurance at a premium that
makes sense with your budget, and you don't have to worry about your
loved ones being put under financial strain to handle your final
expenses after you're gone. |
